MORISTACK CALL
Japanese phone calls, made for you.
City offices, utility companies, clinics, property managers, repair services, restaurants — many things in Japan are phone-only, Japanese-only. Whether you're visiting or you live here, we make the call.
Card registration happens on Stripe's secure checkout. We never see or store your card number.
Registering a card is not a payment. If we can't complete the requested call, you pay nothing.
MORISTACK is an independent operation based in Japan. Read the Legal Notice or contact us before requesting a call.

HOW IT WORKS
New booking, confirm/change one, or a routine inquiry — plus register a card (we don't charge you yet). Takes under 2 minutes.
Check it over. If anything's wrong or missing, just reply — we'll fix it before calling.
Once your details are confirmed, a native Japanese speaker makes the call — to a restaurant, salon, city office, or wherever you need.
We email you the result. If we can't complete it, we don't charge you at all.
PRICING
$6
Confirm, change, or ask
Existing reservation, ryokan booking, delivery status, or anything else that doesn't need a new booking.
$12
New reservation or appointment
Restaurants, hair salons, clinics, repair visits — anywhere that needs a fresh booking on the books.
$15
Japanese-office call
City hall, utilities, property manager — anywhere the call may get transferred or wait for a call-back.
The $15 tier covers calls to city offices, utility companies, and property managers, where being transferred between departments or waiting for a call back is normal and adds real time to the work. They're priced separately from routine questions and confirmations.
Your card is registered when you submit a request but not charged until we've completed the call. A valid coupon can cover an eligible request without card registration. Can't complete it? You pay nothing.
COMPANY
MORISTACK is an independent operation based in Japan that handles practical operations for clients working with Japan from overseas. CALL is our phone-call product, with scope, price, and timeline confirmed up front — and only billed when the call is actually made.
FAQ
No. We register your card when you submit a request, but we don't charge it. We only charge the service fee after we've completed the call. If we can't complete it, we never charge you — there's nothing to refund.
That counts as not completed, so you're not charged. For a new reservation, if you gave us a backup date/time we'll try that in the same call at no extra cost.
Reply to our summary email as soon as you know — that's also your chance to correct any details before we call. If a booking was already confirmed, tell us right away so we can let the business know — missed reservations can cause real disruption for businesses.
For new reservations, restaurants, hair salons, repair services, and clinics. For confirmations, changes, or routine inquiries, we can also call ryokan and hotels (existing bookings only), city hall, utility companies, delivery services, your landlord or property manager, and schools or nurseries. The hard limits are: calls that need to verify your identity (banks, mobile carriers, insurance, immigration) and anything that would put us in conflict with the other side — complaints, demands, negotiations, or anything to do with your employer.
Not yet — for now we only handle bookings that don't require a card guarantee.
Yes — to report a problem like a broken water heater or a leak, to arrange a time for a repair visit, or to check on paperwork. We don't handle rent negotiations, move-out notices, or complaints against a neighbour or the landlord.
No. Providers will only open, close, or transfer an account with the account holder after verifying their identity, and we can't do that on your behalf. We can call to ask what documents you'll need, what the procedure is, or whether it can be done online.
No. We don't handle anything to do with employment — that includes calling in sick, resignations, and anything a company would expect to hear from you directly.
We send the confirmation summary shortly after you register your card. Once you reply confirming the details, we call on weekdays during Japan business hours (9am–9pm JST) and aim to report back the same day or the next business day.
